another manic week, which i shall post about later, but i just had to put this up immediately - “where the wild things” movie is finally coming!!!! maurice sendak is definitely in my top three heros (dick bruna and alexander girard being the other 2), and when i first heard that “where the wild things” was being made into a movie, i almost stopped breathing. when i heard spike jones was directing it, and much of the filming was to occur in my very town, i did stop breathing. for a minute, anyway.
we just discovered the movie poster and trailer yesterday. while watching it, i was close to tears. its looking like the movie will not disappoint. now someone just needs to make a movie of “outside over there” and my life will be close to complete.
