the week that was…

this week has possibly been my busiest working week EVER! 4 major deadlines (one which was briefed on wednesday and had to be completed by friday) + several very late nights working + 1 driving lesson + one 18mth old who likes to party at 2am instead of sleep = a very tired lady. all this busy-ness and i have nothing i can show or tell… everything is still at the top secret development stage. but they have all been  great projects (well worth the late nights) and fingers crossed i can tell more soon.

one thing i can say is that thanks to my agent rebecca, i spent a few days doing some illustration work in at clemenger this week. apart from feeling slightly like a work experience student, it was pretty interesting to see what happens outside my studio bubble and in the real world (the real world of advertising that is).

another cool thing that happened this week – i received this amazing rework of our tiny mammoth magazine from almost-6yr-old  sofia. sofia is daughter of ed and olivia (ed is a multi-talented designer and put together short - an excellant colouring-in book for kids). here is her hand-drawn version of our front cover, and one of her pages featuring ari (now wearing a crown) on a mammoth (now crying and with a mouth). so awesome. thanks sofia!!

if any one wants a copy of the tiny mammoth cata-zine (the original, not sofia’s deconstructed version), please email me!
