harvest exhibition

some photos from the exhibition of the work i made while i was at harvest. most of the pieces are one-off, and made with hand cut paper, and a bit of screen-printing too.

i’m back at home now, and surprisingly, i am loving it. although my stay at harvest was a great experience, it was good to realise that i am very happy in my own studio for now. i actually missed day-to-day occurrences like cats running across my keyboard, half-eaten apples left on my desk and background noise of kids fighting. maybe those things actually add to my work? plus i now have kristina helping me out – for the first time this year i feel things are close to be to be under control. we are meeting deadlines and getting an astounding amount of work done. it feels sooooo good.

so good in fact, that raph and i have treated ourselves to an impromptu adults-only trip to tokyo – we leave next week! having already been on one child-free overseas trip myself this year it feels excessively indulgent, but i do feel like we have worked so hard past few years and truly deserve it.

my excitement is building with every second!

ps exhibition was for one day only and has now closed, but i still have some pieces available for sale. please contact me if you are interested.

So awesome, Beci! Your exhibition and trip to Tokyo! YIPEEE! We were all horrendously sick en masse on your exhibition day, and now I feel sad that we didn’t make it because obviously it was AWESOME STICKS.

If you still have the HOORAY pennant or a bear, or a trapeze, I would love to purchase!
