My excuses were many, always lived near trams, worked in city, nowhere to park even if I did have a car. My best advice is to get an small automatic car and go for it. I bought myself a car first so I couldnt opt out. I hated the lessons but hell, if my mum and half her friends can drive it couldn't be the mystery that i had built up in my head. Now I love it!
